The clients for this project wanted a forward thinking home that featured traditional vernacular forms complimented by sleek, modern styling. The result was this amazing transitional house. A balanced symmetrical arrangement of simple forms is disrupted by a playful window placement and glass walled “connectors” that lend complexity and sophistication to the design. Inside the home, two-story walls of glass open the back of this home to the luxurious rear entertaining areas. Additional interior detailing include glass room partitions, a floating staircase, climatically controlled guitar showcase, and a sophisticated cook’s kitchen open to dining and entertaining areas.
